The bullets:
  • "The gear in my shop is looking a little light in the garments section"
Well, we're not surprised really. That's why we're here, trying to fill that gap.
If you're thinking of something tailor-made, just let us know what you have in mind.
If you're interested in retail supply of our basic product, just mail us.
Either way, mail us on and we'll get back to you.

  • "Could FreeFlyingDuck help create new designs for our guiding service, competition or school?"
Sounds like a damn good idea.
T-shirts worn by pilots are a great billboard, whether it's to remind them of the fun of last years comp or as a reminder to book another week next year for their hols. Mail us your details and any known requirements on and we'll get back to you.

  • "I have an idea for FreeFlyingDuck Gear"
Great, we want to hear about it.
Please visit the Customs & Specials page first and then be sure to mail us on and we'll get back to you.

  • "I want one of your shirts, but which type is best?"
Well, here's what we prefer at FreeFlyingDuck.
    • We tend to wear the "Ash Grey T-shirts" for an all-round tee
    • We tend to wear the "Black T-shirts" if the design looks better on black
    • We tend to wear the "Organic Cotton T-shirt" for a tighter fit
    • We tend to wear "Long Sleeved T-shirts" if we prefer a long sleeve
    • We tend to wear the "Sweatshirts" if we want a bit of warmth thrown in
    • We find the "baseball shirts" too thin, but plenty of people are looking for something light for summer so we produce them
    • We find the "White T-shirts" too plain, but plenty of people are looking for standard white tee's so we produce them

  • "I have another question about FreeFlyingDuck Gear"
    Only too pleased to help.
Please visit the About FreeFlyingDuck Gear and the About Ordering pages first. If you still have questions please visit the Help & FAQ pages and if those pages don't clear it up please mail us on and we'll get back to you.

  • "I have a problem with my order"
Please visit the About Ordering page first.
If you still have a problem please visit the Help & FAQ pages and follow any advice given and if those pages don't clear it up please mail us on and we'll get back to you.

  • "Why don't you give out your office address?"
We don't have an office address, we work from our homes.

  • "Why don't you give out your phone numbers?"
We haven't put our phone numbers on our web pages as we don't want 50 phone calls from sales reps per day. As the phone numbers we use are our home phones and our personal mobiles they would soon be swamped. After contacting us by email we'll happily swap phone numbers with you as would any pilot.

  • "I am really dissatisfied and I'm going to start bad-mouthing you guys if you don't fix it"
As the saying goes, "you can't keep all the people happy all the time". But we try, and up to this point we are pleased to say that we've never had an unhappy customer. FreeFlyingDuck is a group of pilots, we all have day jobs and are sometimes a bit busy too. Having said that, keeping our customers happy is more important than making money to us, after all we're all pilots here. We do turn a profit, but a lot less than you think, and we have fewer resources than your local flying school. Please mail us on and we will get back to you.

  • "I hear one of you lives in Madrid, any chance of a lift to Piedrahita week-saturday?"
... you won't believe this. He landed-out yesterday after an epic flight and he's still trying to make it back. Best you organise you're own transport in case he hasn't shown up by then. Have you tried our Thumb-It T-shirt?

  • "I'm having problems with your website, things just don't look right."
The problem is very often with the browser. Older browsers have a lot of bugs and inconsistencies and although very useful for technical purposes and for profession use, they may not be the most appropriate choice for general web browsing. If you're having problems viewing our site please try upgrading to the latest version of your preferred browser or using a system with it installed. Please also note that if you're using the Internet Explorer browser do try and keep it up-to-date as it is the target of choice for hackers.
If you're sure you're using one of the latest browsers and you still have problems please mail us on as you may have found a bug in our pages and we would like to fix it. Sadly, one of us is an anally-retentive web developer and takes pride in getting these things right. We tested this site with FireFox v1.5 and up and Internet Explorer v6 and up on both WindowsXP & Linux. This site conforms to the W3C standards of XHTML 1.1 & CSS and is approved to use their validation stamps.
